Jackie + Eric fell in love while exploring all the activities offered by the great Colorado wilderness. With a mutual love of skiing, hiking, and even off-roading, we are sure the newlyweds have a lifetime of adventure ahead. This past September, we were honored to join in the fun and create their Colorado Springs wedding video.

Signs Point to Yes

One match wasn’t enough to get Jackie and Eric together. The pair initially matched on Hinge and chatted before Eric had to leave the state for an Army exercise. They met again on Bumble a while later. Consequently, Eric and Jackie decided that matching twice warranted an actual date. They met up for a date and connected right away. Their first date was such a success that they met up the very next day for their second date. The next year was spent skiing, hiking, and camping together all over Colorado. 

Eric + Jackie weathered a global pandemic and came out the other side closer and more in love. After one year together, Eric surprised Jackie at the site of their first date with a sweet proposal. A handful of close friends and family were waiting at The Local Relic to witness the special moment.

A Colorado Springs Wedding Video

Jackie and Eric definitely know how to have a good time. Their wedding celebrations were full of love, laughter, and fun! Pre-wedding activities included off-roading with the wedding party! The ceremony itself was beautiful. Jackie and Eric were married in a gorgeous church featuring romantic architecture and stained glass accents. Eric was dressed in uniform, and Jackie wore a stunning Pronovias dress.

After the ceremony, the couple boarded a party bus to transport them to the reception. The fun only continued from there! Jackie and Eric will never forget the day they became husband and wife.

What’s Next

Jackie and Eric flew to Cabo San Lucas for their honeymoon. They stayed at a luxurious all-inclusive hotel where they snorkeled, rode jet skis, and spent time relaxing around the hotel. They look forward to starting a family of their own.

When we asked the couple what it was like working with Aflatis, they shared,

“Jackie met Adam when he was filming her good friend (Kristen Roff’s) wedding. She loved that he flew out to Miami to film a little bit for her Bachelorette party, and then she was obsessed with the wedding film he created for her. Ever since then, she told herself that when she got married, she wanted Adam to be her videographer! He was so professional yet very enjoyable to work with. Adam made us all feel so comfortable. He will continue to be THE videographer we will recommend for couples to have their story shown.”
