Two years after Dacia + Morgan got engaged, the wonderful couple wed on the Kenai Peninsula in the stunning state of Alaska. We were thrilled to celebrate with them! And, we got to create an Alaskan wedding video they could treasure for decades to come. 

Surprise Proposal

Dacia + Morgan first met in high school. Unfortunately, they lost touch for a while after high school. But, thanks to social media, they reconnected in college and started dating—a true modern love story. After reconnecting, the couple spent three amazing years together before Morgan proposed. 

Morgan’s proposal took Dacia by surprise. In order to surprise Dacia, Morgan had Narrow Road photographers contact Dacia to ask the couple to model for a styled shoot. It was the perfect ruse to get Morgan’s proposal on camera. Dacia + Morgan loved the proposal so much that they decided to get married in the same location with the same photographers who helped pull it off.  

An Alaskan Wedding Video

The pair chose the most picturesque location for their special day. Together with their loved ones, Dacia and Morgan were married lakeside in Moose Pass, Alaska. First, Dacia and Morgan stood back to back and exchanged vows. Then, their unique “no-look first look” was followed by a prayer with their immediate family and wedding party. 

Morgan carried a meaningful token throughout the day. His parents gifted him with a small wooden duck, an inheritance from his beloved late grandfather. Overall, Dacia and Morgan were just thrilled to leave the ceremony as husband and wife. Along with their friends and family, they celebrated well into the night with tear-jerking speeches and an epic dance party.

Next Steps

Looking forward, Dacia and Morgan are planning a decadent honeymoon in Santorini next year. But, they couldn’t wait to celebrate their new life as a married couple. So after their wedding, they went away for a minimoon in Puerto Vallarta. In the future, the couple looks forward to growing in all aspects of their lives together and starting a family full of redheads!
