From the moment they met, Ali + Dan knew they had a special connection. After a whirlwind romance, Dan and Ali tied the knot last July. We had the great honor of celebrating with the happy couple and creating their Avon, Colorado Wedding Video.
A Modern Love Story
Ali and Dan are some of the lucky ones! They found love through a dating app. What started off as a virtual connection soon turned into something more. When they met in person, Dan + Ali knew they had found something special. The couple dated for about a year before Dan popped the question.
Dan + Ali were utterly in love and decided to take a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, as a couple. One morning, they woke up early to watch the sunrise, and the moment felt right. Dan got down on one knee and proposed— tousled hair, PJs, and all. Ever since this magical moment, Ali and Dan have made a point to watch many sunrises together. In fact, they woke up early every morning on their honeymoon to watch the sunrise.
An Avon, Colorado Wedding Video
Dan and Ali chose the gorgeous Beano’s Cabin in Beaver Creek as their wedding venue. The rustic yet luxurious cabin fits the setting perfectly. Ali + Dan were married with the iconic Colorado mountains as their backdrop. Covid added an element of uncertainty to their guestlist. Still, Dan and Ali were lucky to have their closest friends and family with them on their special day. They even found a way to include their sweet puppy Arnie in the wedding!
Ali will never forget the first moment they saw each other on their wedding day. After all the build-up, they were thrilled to finally be together. They both cried after Dan whispered, “I love you, Mrs. Ellis,” to Ali as they walked back down the aisle after saying their “I do’s.” Their loved ones made heartwarming toasts to kick off the reception, and they spent the rest of the night celebrating their joy in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
DO go Chasing Waterfalls
After the wedding, Dan and Ali flew to French Polynesia. Their adventures include a waterfall hike, a delicious and daring food tour, and a sunset cruise. Ali + Dan look forward to creating a life together. Most of all, they know that appreciating the little things is the key to a happy life. They vow to live in the moment and live life to the fullest!
When we asked the couple what it was like working with Aflatis, they shared,
“I heard about Adam because we worked together back when I lived in Denver. I was the photographer, and he was the videographer for an amazing couple. It was a pleasure working with him.”
