Castle Rock Wedding Video | Angela + Zach

In 2020, all engaged couples were faced with difficult decisions about their scheduled wedding. But for Angela + Zach, thankfully, they were able to use their venue of choice, the beautiful The Oaks at Plum Creek. And, we had the privilege of creating their Castle Rock wedding video, along with all of the silly nods at COVID life like the “Quarantined for Life” face masks they had printed for their guests. To learn how Angela and Zach’s journey all started, read on.

Peddling into Each Other’s Hearts

Angela and Zach first met on a peddle bus in Downtown Denver, going from one bar to the next. Zach shared during the wedding ceremony he knew right away that Angela was the one for him. As they became best friends and fell in love over the next two years, Zach began to plot an engagement.

The two had planned a trip to Italy and Zach knew he would propose on the trip. He told Angela he’d made a breakfast reservation for their second morning in Venice. It was a cold morning and Angela was eager to get to the restaurant. She kept asking Zach to share the restaurant’s name with her to look it up and help navigate. But Zach had other plans, meandering to a bridge where he suggested they take some pictures.

Then, Zach got down on one knee and asked Angela to be his wife. He had even hired a photographer to take pictures of the whole thing! Of course, Angela said “yes,” and the rest of their Italy trip was even sweeter, knowing they were now engaged!

A Heartwarming Castle Rock Wedding Video

Angela and Zach tied the knot at a brand new wedding venue in Castle Rock, Colorado—The Oaks at Plum Creek, or The Oaks for short. It overlooks the 18th hole of the Plum Creek Golf Club. And one golf-related perk Zach and his groomsmen got to take advantage of was the golf simulator while they were getting ready!

Both Angela and Zach shared that one of their favorite moments of the entire day was their first look. It was a chance to calm both their nerves before the ceremony began. They also loved that so many family members and friends came to Colorado for the event. Due to the pandemic, some of them even drove for over 20 hours to be there! Seeing everyone together, smiling, dancing, and laughing is something they will treasure forever.

Another unique thing Angela and Zach did at the wedding was have all their guests write them a note. They placed the letters in a box with a bottle of wine from Italy (from their proposal), and on their first anniversary, they plan to open the box, drink the wine, and read all the messages!

What’s on the horizon for Angela + Zach? Due to travel restrictions and the pandemic, Angela and Zach plan to take their honeymoon to Hawaii sometime during 2021. And soon, they’re hoping to start their family together.

I love seeing everyone’s smiles, we’re completely obsessed, to say the least!”
