Holli’s dad had recently passed away and she was starting the school year at a new school in Grand Lake. A friend of Holli’s invited her to go to Justin’s parents’ cabin for the weekend and Holli thought it would be a great way to meet some new people. Justin was on the quieter side, so Holli wasn’t too sure how things would go. But when they got to the cabin, Justin showed a different side that was silly and crazy and Holli and Justin hit it off from there. That same night led to Holli and Justin having their first kiss on the deck that overlooked the lake. From that night on, Holli and Justin were inseparable.

It was a cold, winter day in Grand Lake but a perfect day for a snowmobile trip on the trails. Justin proposed to Holli on the top of a mountain with breathtaking views of the valleys below that surrounded them.

With a ring on Holli’s hand, she and Justin were on the search for the perfect venue for their special day. And as the saying goes…”the third times a charm.” Castle Cliff Estate was the third venue that they had looked at and when they saw all that it had to offer they knew that it was perfect place and fell in love instantly. It provided a great backdrop for their special day, which also happened to be Holli’s dad’s birthday. They loved being surrounded by family and friends who had journeyed along with them through their love story and were now witnessing them exchange vows. Their favorite part of the day was seeing each for the first time and for Justin, finally being able to see Holli in her wedding dress.

Holli and Justin took a small honeymoon to Two Harbors, Minnesota and stayed in a cabin on Lake Superior. They plan to take their full honeymoon in January to the Virgin Islands.

Shannyn: How was working with Adam?

Holli and Justin: Adam was awesome! One of the best choices we made surrounding our entire wedding was choosing Adam to be our videographer.  He was an absolute pleasure to work with and we can’t wait to see the final product. Being one of the most important and expensive days in your life, it was important to us to have a video to relive our wedding day and most importantly to share with our children some day.
