Kelli + Sam

Wedding date: June 24, 2016

After dating for just over a year, Kellie and Sam decided to go the non-traditional route and plan a secret wedding. For three weeks they kept it under wraps as they reserved vendors…the only thing missing was the ring. In the midst of the secret planning, Sam took Kellie to one of their favorite date spots. As the wedding talk began and the to-do list was being checked, Kellie mentioned a few details that had to be taken care of. Sam replied with a clever answer of, “I think there is one thing that needs to happen before all of that…” and with that, Sam got down on one knee and proposed. Kellie was surprised but possibly the biggest item on the list had just been checked off.

The wedding planning came easy since most of the vendors had been reserved and paid for. The big day came and was marked with Kellie and Sam being surrounded by their family and friends who traveled from California, Florida, Ohio, Tennessee and everywhere inbetween. Kellie and Sam kept their wedding intimate, simple, and beautiful. The Farmette had farm animals that added to the backdrop of fallen trees and great music that created the perfect atmosphere for Kellie and Sam’s special day. One of the favorite moments of the day was having Kellie and Sam’s pastor marry them, bless their marriage, and share the Gospel with those in attendance. The blessing continued as Kellie’s parents and Sam’s parents joined together to pray over Kellie and Sam and their marriage.

Kellie and Sam enjoyed a honeymoon weekend in Steamboat Springs where they hiked, went to the hot springs, and enjoyed the summer Colorado scenery. It provided them with a time to reflect on their wedding and relax. They will take a true honeymoon trip in January 2017 to Punta Cana.

As Kellie and Sam begin life’s greatest adventure, they look forward to seeing what God has in store for them through every season – “newlywed bliss, to one day starting a family, and growing in our faith together.” In the meantime, they are excited in strengthening their marriage and savoring the days of just being the two of them.

Shannyn: How was working with Adam?

Kellie: We found Adam after a long and prayerful search. We were ecstatic when we came upon his website and couldn’t wait to meet up with him. He was a blast to work with, open to our ideas and genuinely cared about getting to know us and developing our story. Adam was quick to crack a joke at just the right time, making us feel relaxed through the craziness that is a wedding. He far exceeded our expectations, capturing the details of the day candidly. We are blown away by the finished products… His work is phenomenal. We hired a videographer and gained a friend in the process. YES, we would absolutely recommend Adam!
