Kristin + David

Some relationships come and go…and then come back again. Kristin and David attended high school together at Arapahoe High School in Denver, Colorado and attended senior prom together. After the two graduated, they lost touch, but fate had another card up its sleeve. In 2013, Kristin and David reconnected in San Francisco and the rest has become history.

Fast forward to a year and half later and the two lovebirds are in San Diego taking a sailboat ride at sunset. As the sun set, David got down on one knee and proposed to Kristin at the bow. With a resounding yes, the two celebrated with a champagne toast overlooking the sunset.

The summer wedding was filled with family and friends, but Kristin and David found moments where it was just the two of them. One of their favorite moments was their first-look. It gave them a chance to be alone and take in all that the day held for them. Another moment that was a favorite for them was their first dance. David sang to Kristin for the first part of the song, “You’re just too good to be true,” by Frankie Valli and then joined her on the dance floor to show off their great moves. Kristin and David also incorporated a wine theme into their day, since they reconnected in wine country in San Francisco. They had guests fill wine bottles with date ideas for them to crack open on anniversaries.

When the wedding festivities ended, Kristin and David jetted off for Disneyland and Bora Bora. The newly married couple stayed at the Sofitel private island in an overwater bungalow. A few of their favorite activities were hiking Mt. Pahia, riding a jet ski, and swimming with sharks. They spent a few nights at the happiest place on earth at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa.

Kristin and David are looking forward to exploring the world together and building a home and family together.

Shannyn: How was working with Adam?

Kristin: BEST INVESTMENT! Priceless! He was the first wedding investment we made when we started wedding planning. We did lots of research because it’s not just important to have a good video but it was important for us to find someone we trusted and got along with. When we came across his work we felt like we were at each one of the weddings we watched. David and I are honored he could be a part of our special day. We knew it was going to be a day full of memories and we felt like we could really take it all in because we knew it would all get captured. Not only could we trust his work to be excellent but we could trust him like we would a friend. He was always helpful when we needed advice for other vendors. When I was looking for a photographer he suggested Taylor and again he succeeded because she did an excellent job, as well. Never did we think we would make a friend out of this wedding planning process but Adam is someone who is humble, genuine, and talented. We are lucky to have met him and can’t wait for him to visit us in San Francisco!
