You never know when a helping hand may have more to offer than the present help — and that’s exactly what happened for Kristin and Matt. Kristin was at Best Buy looking for a laptop when Matt, the manager on duty, checked on Kristin, her mom, and the store associate helping them. Casual conversation was exchanged and then Kristin “stalked and found Matt on Facebook.” She sent him a text and he then asked her out. A few days after their first date, Kristin left for Europe on a study aboard trip. During her month abroad they would Skype and when Kristin returned to the United States they took the next step and were in a relationship.
During the summer of 2013, Kristin and Matt went hiking to one of their favorite places in Rocky Mountain National Park, Dream Lake. As they neared their favorite lookout place, Kristin noticed the cute blanket that was “left behind” from someone’s romantic date and without hesitation took a seat on the blanket. Matt began to share sweet words with Kristin and she caught a glimpse of a camera across the lake; she quickly replayed moments from the day and the puzzle pieces came together. At that moment, Matt was on his knee and asking Kristin to marry him — she said yes!
The big surprise was over but Matt had a few smaller surprises up his sleeve still. Their engagement was photographed and videotaped, they shared a glass of champagne to celebrate, and Matt talked to Kristin’s teacher to get her excused from class so that they could spend the evening celebrating. When Kristin and Matt arrived at the Fort Collins Brewery, she was greeted with a sign that said, “Congratulations Kristin and Matt” and a private room that held their closest friends ready to celebrate the engagement of the happy couple.
Fast forward to Kristin and Matt’s sixth anniversary and they are saying “I do.” The mountains from their engagement was brought into their theme for their wedding day. The cake topper, center pieces, and escort card holders all carried a tree theme. Some of their favorite hiking places could be seen as the table names and their love for sweets couldn’t go unnoticed with their pastry and cake display and the candy buffet. Matt’s son was the ring bearer and they shared a family dance at the reception. The fun continued into the night as Kristin and Matt had their send off with glow sticks.
Kristin and Matt loved their first look as Kristin walked down the aisle and sharing such a memorable day with their family and friends.
Kristin and Matt shared their first days as husband and wife in Cozumel, Mexico where they swam with dolphins, lounged by the beach, soaked in the sun and went snorkeling.
Shannyn: How did you hear about AdamFusion Films?
Kristin: I found Adam online and then a friend of a friend recommended him as well, which sealed the deal!
