Love has no concept of time or distance, especially when its true love.

Lexie and Chris grew up in neighboring towns in Wyoming and their high schools were often rivals in sports. Sure, Lexie had heard of Chris Prosinski and how every girl in town had a crush on him but she didn’t actually meet Chris until college.

Lexie ended up transferring to the University of Wyoming, where Chris was attending and playing football. Mutual friends had talked Chris up and how great he was but because of his football schedule he was never around. Lexie could vaguely remember the name from her high school days but couldn’t put a face to match the name. When Lexie and Chris’ paths finally did cross, Lexie was immediately drawn to him. Lacking some courage, Lexie kept the interactions small with seeing him around with friends or casual conversation on Facebook. The courage finally came and Lexie decided to go talk to Chris in person but after a short conversation with Lexie he got up off the couch— turns out he is very sweet and kind and was on the shy side and needed some time to warm up. Eventually phone numbers were exchanged, hang outs happened, the first date came and went…and a new love story had been written.

During their time dating, Lexie and Chris stayed busy with the adventures of life. Chris was drafted into the NFL and moved to Jacksonville, Florida. Lexie would fly down there when she had a chance and Chris would come back to Wyoming on his offseason. One more adventure was taking place and that was Lexie competing for Miss America as she represented Wyoming. A football draft and a crown were no match for the love that Chris and Lexie had for each other.

The busyness of life started to slow down when Lexie was complete with Miss Wyoming and she finished school in December. That became the perfect timing for a January proposal.

It was Christmas time when Lexie opened her gift and she started laughing because she was holding a pair of Justin Timberlake tickets — the exact same present she had gotten Chris. Chris had mentioned dinner at Ocean Prime but that they would have an early dinner because of that was the only time he could get a reservation. On the way to dinner, Chris mentioned checking out the clock tower in downtown Denver. They took the elevator up and when Lexie stepped out she saw the floor covered in rose petals. A table was set up for two with champagne and chocolate and their favorite music played in the background. As they looked out over the clock tower the sun was setting and it was then that Chris proposed to Lexie. Hiding in the background, Amanda and Debi, the photographers, captured the whole proposal. A perfect proposal was followed by an amazing concert. Lexie sums up the whole night with simple words with everlasting meaning — “he did good.”

It was only fitting that Lexie and Chris get married in their home state of Wyoming. The base of Big Horn mountain provided the perfect backdrop. They knew that they wanted to get married outside, which in Wyoming gave them a choice of three months. They also had to work around Chris’ football schedule —they often joke about how everyone in the NFL has the same anniversaries and birthdays because everyone has to work around football season.

Both, Lexie and Chris spent the night before the wedding with their bridal party. Lexie had a giant sleepover with her bridesmaids and Chris with his groomsmen. They loved the time they were able to have with the people who would be standing by their sides. After the ceremony Lexie and Chris took their bridal part with them on a trolley ride where they were able to drink, celebrate and have a great time all together. A stand out moment for Lexie was exchanging letters with Chris before their first look and her favorite moment from the whole day was making Chris her husband.

Lexie and Chris are looking forward to the honeymoon they will take…during the offseason.

As football seasons and the adventures of life come and go, Lexie and Chris are looking forward to living life together and all that it has to bring them.

Shannyn: How was working with Adam?

Lexie: I found him online through some google searches, but anyone would be lucky to have Adam capture their big day. I knew that I wanted to have our memories filmed so that I could watch them with my husband on anniversaries, show our kids, our grandkids, and to have for the rest of our life and I’m so happy that we had someone as talented as Adam to do that for us. Adam was absolutely fantastic to work with and I would highly recommend him to anyone. First of all, he endured the trolley ride with our crazy bunch, so he is definitely a trooper! He is so extremely talented, innovative, and easy to work with. He was so flexible, reliable, professional and on top of it is a great person. We have just seen the “teaser” clips from our wedding but fell in love with them. He was able to really capture our personalities, even in those short clips. He had our wedding parties play football, which was genius and absolutely hysterical, and was very fitting. The clips showed what a fun group of family and friends we were surrounded by and how lucky we were to have found each other and celebrate that day with everyone. We CAN’T WAIT to see the rest of what Adam captured that day!
