Moss Denver Wedding Film | Sarah + John

Sarah and John met in the most rom-com way. But unlike a fairytale, their relationship has already endured many of the hard things in life, and they are an amazing, enduring couple. So, when they asked us to film their Moss Denver wedding film last November, it was a privilege!

Neighborly Love

When we mentioned their romantic comedy manner of meeting, we weren’t kidding. Several years ago, Sarah and her best friend moved to Denver. Sarah’s friend starting dating their neighbor and when they started hanging out as a group, Sarah met the neighbor’s roommate John. Soon they began dating too! Well, spoiler alert, both Sarah and John and the other couple all ended up getting married. So now when the two couples get together, they have lots of good memories to look back on and laugh.

Touching Christmas Proposal

Sarah and John dated for a few years, and John was getting ready to propose during 2017. But Sarah’s dad, who was battling with cancer, took a turn for the worse near the holidays. Sarah ended taking a last-minute flight back to Maine to be with her family.

John followed, and Sarah’s dad ended up slipping John a note encouraging him to propose, despite the difficult situation at hand. So that night, John proposed to Sarah in front of the Christmas tree. He agreed to be by her side through both the painful and beautiful parts of life.

Moss Denver Wedding

Sarah and John loved everything about their wedding day. But perhaps one of the most wonderful moments was when they shared their first look, surrounded by towering, historic Denver columns.

One unique way the couple included John’s late father was to have a tribute sign for him at the bar during the reception. There were other ways they made sure to include his presence during the wedding day too.

As always, the Moss Denver did not disappoint, and the party went late into the night!

What Was It Like Having Aflātis/Adam Create Your Moss Denver Wedding Film?

When asked what it was like to work is Aflātis, Sarah said, “We met Adam during my sister’s wedding! He became an instant fit with my family, and there was no question of looking for another videographer to film mine! He is INSANELY talented, humble, and truly a pleasure to work with.”
