When it comes to Denver weddings, there are plenty of great venues to choose from. But Leva and Michael decided to tie the knot and the Chateaux in Fox Meadows in Broomfield. Their winter wedding video was both elegant and epic. To learn how these two met, got engaged, and then ultimately said “I do” to forever together, keep reading!

A Blast From the Past Text

Leva and Michael first met in an undergraduate biology course. And although they were friendly, life took them in different directions. A few years down the road, Michael reached back out to Leva with a text to let her know what an impact she’d made in his life. As they reconnected, they found they had a lot to catch up on and had quite a bit in common. They kept talking as friends. Friendship turned into more, and they began a long-distance relationship, with Leva in medical school in Colorado and Michael in Illinois for PA school.

While they dated long distance for a few years, Michael planned to propose while vacationing with Leva’s parents in France and then Israel. Since Israel is Leva and Michael’s Holy Land, it was the perfect place to propose. While they were in Haifa, Michael asked Leva to be his wife, and they spent time in prayer and celebrated the beginning of their engagement!

A Dream Winter Wedding Video at Chateau at Fox Meadows

Leva and Michael wed on November 29, 2019, at Chateau at Fox Meadows in Broomfield, Colorado. Leva’s mother has a history in event planning, so she made the venue look incredible, handmaking all the centerpieces and decorations, spending hours and hours over months to bring her vision to fruition. 

Michael’s favorite part of the wedding was their first dance, a beautifully choreographed ballroom dance. And of course, all of their loved ones present made it such a memorable and treasured event. Many friends and family members contributed to the wedding day, and for that, Leva and Michael are so thankful.

A New Future Together

Leva and Michael spent their years dating and engaged living in separate states, so one of the best parts of being married is just getting to live together and waking up next to each other each day. They’re both starting new careers as they begin their life together as well. When we asked Leva and Michael what it was like working with the Aflatis team, they said, “I think it’s impossible to see Aflatis’ production and not fall in love with their work! [They are] extremely polite and phenomenal to work with!”
