The second time was the charm for Lindsey + Tim. The couple officially tied the knot last year in an intimate ceremony. But they waited until this May to host a beautiful wedding celebration and share their joy with their extended family and friends. We had a blast creating their upscale Denver wedding video.
Downtown Denver Romance
Lindsey + Tim met through a mutual friend while watching a college football game in downtown Denver. After meeting, they dated for five years before taking the next step in their relationship. Notoriously, Tim is indecisive. But he never doubted his love for Lindsey. And, proposing to her was the easiest decision he ever made.
Tim’s elaborate proposal was worthy of a romance movie. One winter afternoon, Lindsey and Tim had tickets to see The Nutcracker matinee. He arranged for them to sneak inside the theater early. In a romantic scene, Lindsey found a rose on her seat and Tim popped the question while the dancers rehearsed.
A Perfect Storm
For their public celebration, Lindsey and Tim chose a gorgeous modern venue—Blanc Denver. It was the perfect tribute to the city where the couple met, got engaged, and lived together for many years. After a touching ceremony, guests were served a unique offering of food including street tacos, a risotto bar, and a stir fry served in mini Chinese food containers.
While most brides hope for perfect weather during their wedding, a heavy rainstorm turned out to be one of Lindsey’s favorite memories of the day. As fate would have it, the guests needed to shelter in the barn which allowed Lindsey + Tim to celebrate with all of their favorite people in close proximity. After enduring long months of social distancing during the height of COVID, the guests were overjoyed to have the opportunity to gather in person and hug their loved ones.
What’s Next
After the wedding, Lindsey and Tim waved goodbye to the Denver skyline and headed for Maui! They packed their vacation with adventurous activities. The couple watched the sunrise on Haleakala and took the road to Hana. They snorkeled, paddle boarded, and even took a helicopter tour of the island. Lindsey + Tim look forward to many more adventures together.
When we asked the couple what it was like working with Aflatis, they shared,
“Adam and his assistant were fantastic. Super personable and respectful. It was easy to forget he was there at times. The outcome was everything we could have hoped for and more.”
